Recommendations
The gatekeeper of the extreme cold weather. We recommend this jacket being used as part of your layering system when the going it slow and tough.
The fortitude has outstanding thermal properties as well as wind-stopping capabilities with its 3 layer 30D nylon build up.
We wouldn’t recommend fast, high intensity activities with risk of sweating & over heating. An excellent summit jacket, recovery jacket, cold weather defence.
Requirements
Specifically crafted for sub zero adventures. The jacket shell is protected with Rudolf Bionic Eco finish DWR water-resistant treatment. to help wick moisture from clag, snow or ice.
NOTE –Â Not to be confused with “water-resistant” and “waterproof” the two terms of concept whilst sound similar, are not the same.
The water-resistant treatment is merely to provide as much protection to the Down insulation which is what keeps you warm. If worn in rainy/wet conditions, to consider an outer waterproof shell.
Maintenance
The Fortitude jacket is very resilient and made for the elements. Fit for its intended purpose and to be used with pride and care.
Do not expose the jacket smoke, fire or hot objects such as and iron.
The jacket has a wash and care label inside the pocket, however, our recommendations are as follows
- 30′ degree max wash
- Wash separately
- Tumble dry on low heat only
- Do not dry clean
- Do not use fabric softener
- Do not use bleach
- Ensure new DWR treatment after 3 or 4 washes
- Do not iron

Returns
Returns will be accepted for up to 14 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
- Received the wrong item
- Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging)
- Item had defects
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
